Music In Our Lives - Carnegie Hall Presentation

Rock shirts have been around for a few decades now and they are still very popular among males and females, although males are more likely to continue buying and wearing them long in to their 40’s. Bands of all kinds find themselves on these shirts from heavy metal/hard rock bands like Disturbed, Pantara, and Korn to older rockers like Janis Joplin, the Beatles, and the Doors. My husband has a drawer full of these music shirts and I doubt that he will ever give them up since he says these are the coolest shirts ever.

Music has become a part of life for most of us. Even classical music is beginning to be introduced to the younger generation through some interesting channels. YouTube recently listed a performance from Carnegie Hall featuring 93 performers ranging in age from 15 – 55 years. Over 3,000 people from 70 countries sent in audition tapes via YouTube which shows that the world is ready for this type of media presentation. After very little practice comparatively the performance was held on April 15, 2009 at Carnegie Hall in New York City, it was absolutely amazing and well worth the time to view it.

The music is inspirational, played with true heart, and beautifully orchestrated. The video quality is perfect and they obviously spent a great deal on this project. This is the world’s first collaborative online music project and will certainly go down in history. It is my sincere hope that they will continue doing things like this and bringing beautiful music to people who may not otherwise get a chance to hear.

Music is important, it is everywhere and people from all walks of life listen to it, by CD’s, and wear music t shirts. We all have music in common no matter what you actually listen to it’s all music, try something new once in a while and you may find that you actually like it.
