Motorcycles And Women Drivers

Now that the summer is here we see motorcycles of all kinds on the road with drivers of all ages happily crusing the roads enjoying the summer air. Most motorcycle drivers are men and the women you see are usually on the back holding on to one of those big burly men, however did you know that the number of actual female bike drivers is actually going up each year? Well, it certainly is and I for one think that it is wonderful.

Too long have we relied on men to do the driving, to take us along on road trips while we sit uncomfortably holding on for hours at a time. Now women are starting to venture out and buy their own bikes, they are even starting to get the real Harley Davidson’s and that means raw power. Before you rush out to get a Harley you must remember that these bikes are intended for men and they are really pure power, there is nothing to say that you cannot drive one if you are a woman, but you should absolutely practice before getting on one of these bad boys.

In most states there are very strict rules, here in New York in order to obtain a motorcycle license you will first need to pass a written test, then obtain your learner’s permit, take a motorcycle driving course ny and find a licensed motorcycle driver who can go with you on your practice trips, and provide helpful knowledge based on real experiences.
